Welcome to taylorclan2008

Hello and welcome to the new blog dedicated to the taylorclan group walking for the Providence Ronald McDonald House at the 2008 Family Walk Festival May 4th!!!!

Our family stayed at the PRMH after our fifth child was born; the House was the answer to our prayers, we were made to feel at home and could finally concentrate on our family and their needs. We have been lucky that our children have been healthy since the time that we stayed at the House, we know that if we ever needed the House we would be welcomed back.
Since our stay at PRMH we have thought about how we could best help the House. With five children between the ages of two and ten, we thought it best not to invade the mostly quiet and relaxed atmosphere of the House with our sometimes VERY loud family. After much deliberation we have come up with a booklet to help share our story and those of other families who have stayed at the House. Last year we put together a two page booklet telling our families' story and with that as our fundraising tool, we were able to raise almost one thousand dollars.

This year when we set about putting the booklet together we realized that we could make it into a larger, more productive endeavor. I contacted a few families from the House and they all signed on to help make this happen. The Jason Pisano, famous for his marathon racing has also agreed to help with the booklet. Everyone has been wonderful about getting on board with this project. They have all given generously of their time and talent to bring this booklet to life.
I hope that this booklet helps to shed more light on the extraordinary place the Providence Ronald McDonald House is and the incredible people who make this House a Home.

I will try to update the blog as often as possible.

Please contact me with any questions or comments about the House and the Walk. Please email me at taylorclan2008@gmail.com

Thank you to all who have helped to make this booklet possible.
Laura Taylor
